As a Cubs fan, I can honestly say I loved him as a player and appreciated his love for the Cubs. But as an announcer, he said some the craziest and dumbest shit I've ever heard. Maybe that is why you like him. I have no idea. I really miss the knowledge of Steve Stone. Bob Brenly reminds me a lot of Stone, whereas Kasper reminds of puberty whenever I have to listen to his voice crack after he calls a shot.
