But Sonnen took him down easily in the first round. The "cheating" didn't seem to matter. It was the second round where Sonnen had trouble taking him down and Silva induced him into a stand up fight. Even if Silva was dipped in Vaseline it won't change how his fists hit Sonnen's face.

I can't say whether or not GSP and Anderson greased. It does appear that way. But here's my question, who does greasing help the most? The BJJ guy or the Wrestler? Anderson is a BJJ guy facing one of the best Wrestlers. GSP is a Wrestler facing one of the best BJJ guys. This seems contradictory that they would both benefit from greasing. The only thing that could make sense is if greasing somehow only favors the guy that is greasing. This could be possible I suppose. But what if Anderson and GSP fought each other and they both greased. Who would it favor the BJJ guy or the Wrestler?
