    Swinging Johnson Picks - Saturday July 7th!!
    No podcast today kids (out of town) but I have three write-ups for today's games. Last week was a nightmare and I describe my feelings in the opening two paragraphs. Let's see if we can get back on a winning track. Still +45 units for the season. http://www.sbrforum.com/mlb-baseball...ingin-a-25579/

    Good luck boys and here's a shout out to my boy Geno Bisconte!

        The bottom line here is you have two pitchers in Tampa’s Matt Joyce and Cleveland’s Ubaldo Jimenez, who have similar stats. Of the two Joyce has been upping his game since the start of the season while Jimenez has been throwing a lot of pitches, giving up long balls and walks.
        Here’s another interesting statistic for all of you who are into the quirky nuances of major league baseball. Tampa Bay is 33-23 against right handers while Cleveland is 8-16 versus southpaws. Yes, Jimenez is a righty while Joyce is a lefty. I see a clear cut advantage for the Rays in this one after demolishing the Indians last night.
        ::::::::::::::

        Might want to edit in Matt Moore instead of Matt Joyce.

            Shame that Bruce Chen got hit hard today, Tigers are not that great against lefties and I felt that in a pitchers park he would be able to keep the fly balls to a minimum. Still time for the Royals to get some runs off of Doug Fister, but I didn't expect this hole.
