5 out of 8 doubleheaders this season have been sweeps
The following article/stats were from the middle of the 2011 season:

"Since 2006 there have been 125 doubleheaders. However, 60 of them have ended in a sweep....of the 60 doubleheader sweeps since 2006 only 26 of them have come from road teams"... This is the best betting article I've ever read and it's about an incredibly simple system for betting doubleheaders profitably:

The way things are going between the Yankees and Red Sox, I think the Yankees have a great chance to sweep. Obviously, history says the Yankees have a very small chance to sweep. Any thoughts?

Would you expand on that please? I like the Yankees for game 1, do you have a lean?

No betting for me on either game but I like the Yankees in game 1 and Boston to win game 2.

Giants and Blue Jays noth have value today too.

sorry, its hard I'm typing with my non dom non broken hand only.

take yanks game 1. and keep capping game 2 during game 1. get all the info, where shadows might be between batter/pitcher for game 2. (or is it split with a 7:05 2nd game start)

bullpen availability will change as game 1 goes on

          weather patterns

          injuries lineups.

who are the extra 26th roster guy that each team called up for today?

if first game is blowout, same team G2---if first game is close, other team G2----just the way i do it.

              Thank you!

After further capping I'm going with Red Sox first half ML. Garcia will be lucky to match Morales imho.

That makes sense intuitively. Have you been successful with that strategy?

Posters on espn are reporting that there's almost certainly gonna be a rain delay for game 1.

I wonder if there only ends up being time for one game today if both teams would just choose the best starting pitcher available to pitch the one game. That would mean that all bets for game 1 and game 2 would be cancelled. Any thoughts about that? Has anyone seen that happen before?

Do you realiuze that all of your numbers are pretty close to 50%?

And the fact that road teams only swept 26 out of 60 is pretty much the normal since they are generally underdogs anyway

yeah 26/60 is a higher winning percentage than you would expect.
