Presumably Blake is smart as he attended Yale... However, it could have been on tennis scholarship or b/c he is a rich connected CT boy.

"Tennis smarts" I would have to give it to Fed. Even in his "later years" he puts together some of the most mind boggling points, seemingly thinking many shots ahead with particular attention to his opponents strengths and weaknesses. This is in contrast to a player that relies on "craftiness" or brute strength/endurance (Nadal).

I'd say Gilles Simon, he really knows how to draw errors. He's physically quite limited, but now looks a good shot to be top10 at the end of the year. Extremely effective.
