Jason Kidd to the Knicks

[zoo youk]

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/stor...ew-york-knicks

great pick up just what they needed. don't need Kidd to shoot. just penetrate and dish. perfect fit with Carmelo.

[zoo youk]

hearing Knicks will match Houstons offer for Lin and bringing in Kidd was a huge part in him mentoring Lin.

[NYSportsGuy210]

....and Jeremy Lin to the Rockets

[KingJD31]

Idk zoo I think kidd is only good for spot up 3s now, we should have got Felton

[zoo youk]

he's a good fit for their offense. plus he has a ring and will be reunited will Chandler. he doesn't do much offensive wise, which is what the Knicks needs at the point, considering they have scorers everywhere else. they just need him to distribute, hit the open 3 when melo, stat are double teamed, dish out his 6-7 assist a night with zero to 1 TO and mentor Lin..

[Sunde91]

40 years old in march signed for 3 years another failed Knicks move

[KingJD31]

How could lin sign with Houston, wtf are they doing. We better hope Stoudemire gets on the juice this offseason

[jjgold]

Part time player only

[Bluehorseshoe]

I think the Knicks should rotate Kidd, Baron Davis and Stockton. (If they can't sign Oscar Robertson.)

lol

[zoo youk]

jd knicks already said they will match houstons offer. houston only ended up offering a decent amount instead of the 30 mill range that was predicted

[jsmithj88]

is he brought in to start or backup lin?
i doubt lin would want to return to the knicks if it is to be a backup
which would be the reason why he is signing with the rockets

[KingJD31]

If they signed Nash he would prob go to Houston but agree knicks should get him back

[HoulihansTX]

Knicks continue to look foolish whenever their front office makes a decision.

Jason Kidd???? Guy has the ass of a women. He should be trying out fo the dance team.

[Speedy88]

I'm hearing that the Knicks will match anything Lin signs. They want Kidd to mentor Lin. Solid move for the Knicks.

[xelemental]

I thought lin doesnt have a choice. As long as KNicks match it, Lin will be with KNicks correct?

[zoo youk]

yes

[Goat Milk]

Penetrate and Dish? Jason Kidd cannot penetrate at all. He's been strictly a jump shooter/rebounder/ball handler for the last 2 years.

[ChalkyDog]

Yep, similar to the Eric Gordon and PHX situation. Except, no matter what Lin says - Knicks don't care.

Eric Gordon has already said he doesn't like Houston and loves PHX - so at this point, Orleans would be foolish to match. Maybe do so for a sign and trade option only - but even that is doubtful.

[ChalkyDog]

J.Kidd and Lin can be on the floor at the same time.

Lin
Kidd
Melo
Stat
Tyson

starting 5

[KingJD31]

If we stay healthy and amare is on cycle right now we got a solid starting lineup, would have loved to get Terry also

[xelemental]

what about novak? I wonder if hes staying with KNicks, if he does, Knicks will have a crazy bench if kidd comes off with him. Im already getting exciteddddddd~~~

[Goat Milk]

Novak? He can't do anything in the playoffs. He's a liability. You can't play a guy like Novak more than 8 min a game in the playoffs when guys will smother your perimeter shooters.

He is built for the regular season.

[NYSportsGuy210]

Jason Kidd has a killer 3 point jump shot. Knicks could use that over the chucks that Steve Novak gives them.

[KingJD31]

Anyone sign Marvin Williams? Guy can play d

Jazz.

[easyliving]

Kidd is one of the greatest pgs of all time even if he is at the end of the career he is a great addition especially at the veteran minimum. Guy has a high baskettball IQ and will get both Amauri and Carmelo involved and will give the Knicks 20-25 solid minutes especially on the defensive end. This is a great signing.

[InTheDrink]

Kidd is stil a fantastic defensive player

Its Hilarious though that the Knicks will have $70million on four guys in three years

[GamblerSpirit]

[jjgold]

Knicks will be very competitive unless Anthony hogs ball

He is a team killer

Balls hogs do not win titles

[Bluehorseshoe]

The next signing for the Knicks should be Randy Foye. The guy is lights out in the Garden.
