The few true Africans I have met were educated and articulate. They didn't have this "benefit" of slavery in their gene pool.

few years back, I had a roomate from togo Africa. he'd never been to the usa at all. He was very smart, spoke 4 languages, was going to grad school. We lived in the same hood i'm in now in SW chicago. after 3 months he hated black people and refused to ackowledge any link between them. it was fascinating to watch it all unfold

That is true, Africans (straight from there) are smart as **** and have a great work ethic. The Ingeneering/Math/Science departments at UH is full of Africans. Mostly Nigerians.

I think since their family wasn't enslaved in the US they don't feel like the white man owes them anything so they have nobody to hand them anything, they have to earn it. That's why they are successful.

Times have changed. About that same time frame, if a teenager got pregnant, she went to an unwed mothers facility , leaving her town before showing , so as not to disgrace the family. There were separate water fountains for black and white, no movie stars would admit being Jewish, etc.etc.


It was a different world 40-50 years ago.

This subject matter is tricky and offends some people. But I do think that what a culture does for hundreds of years can increase brain power or physical power. Think about how people in Africa lived for the last 1000 years compared to how people in Asia lived or people in Europe lived. Just very different lives.
