1. If you havent been to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio and like amusement parks, go there! It's the best/biggest one I have ever seen, 2 of the most thrilling roller coasters that exist.
2. Downtown Cleveland is a fukking dump. There is basically nothing happening there. The city also has NO parking, its luck if you dont have to pay. The Rock N Roll hall of fame is worth it though, many good things to see there if you are at all into rock.
3.I can't figure out how Buffalo can support a NFL team. That's one tiny major city. I guess everything, including the team, is in the suburbs, cause the city itself has very little going for it. The Anchor pub's wings were excellent and well worth the visit. I can't ever imagine going back though.
4.Niagara Falls, Canada is beautiful, but 1)there are more Indians/non white people there than anywhere else I have ever been and 2)its the biggest tourest trap on earth LOL. Do go on the maid of the mist to visit the falls up close if you happen to find yourself there.
5. Toronto has more construction activity on new building structures going on than ANY city I have ever seen. There had to be 20 cranes building new condos or buildings going on in the area near the Rogers center. It was amazing. No recession in Toronto.
6.EVERYTHING in Canada is more expensive. Fukking beer is 40 bux for a case! I can get the same case in Illinois for 15 tops. Gas is 1.19 a litre, which is well over 4 bux a gallon, totally out of touch with reality. With the American dollar being on par with the Canadian dollar, you get no discount.
7.Toronto barely deserves a major league baseball team. The city is as big as Chicago, and can't get more than 20k to a baseball game?? Something is wrong there, its not a bad team.
8.American cell phones basically do not workin Canada, calls maybe but NO data/internet except where you can find wi fi.
9.the city of Detroit is a fukking disgrace. That's all that needs to be said.
Good to be home boys, the road is fun, but there's no place like home!
