indy on the road with a defense that relies on turnovers to help the offense win?
no thanks. i like green bay in that one.
usc -42.5 is a toss-up. if they care, they cover. if they rest guys, wazzu covers. who knows?
i like oakland at home getting pts.
i think you go 2-1 or 1-2 with this parlay.
i think indy is the weak link. too unpredictable and playing with fire every week is the way i view the colts right now.

Peyton had enough time to shake the rust off, plus Clark is feeling better and Harrison finally made a headline for something other than owning a firearm and potentially being involved in a crime. Not only that, Jeff Saturday is feeling fine again and the Colts just obliterated a Ravens defense that, until last weekend, was heralded as a top 3 defense in the National Football League.

"obliterated" is not the right word. colts only had 1 more first down and just 74 more yds. indy only had 334 total yds for the game.
the key state was 5 TURNOVERS by baltimore. at any level of football, if you are +5 in turnovers, you should win by 28 as indy did. they did what they should have done.

Well, the final score calls for referring to the game as an obliteration of the Ravens respected defense. Whereas, if we look at the Packers win last weekend it was far less impressive against an out of sorts Seattle team that'll be lucky to string together 5 wins this season.

i understand that. we see it a little differently. yes, seattle was short-handed at qb by charlie frye has started games in the league before. green bay had to win on the road, and considering that rodgers has the shoulder issue, i think the win was a decent one.
looking ahead to sunday, i think the colts have the more opportunistic defense, but the packers have the more stingy one. the game is on grass which negates a bit of the colts speed advantage. i will go with the packers at home if i am forced to pick.
you are one of my favorite ppl at the site, CrazyL. we will agree to disagree on this one and see what happens. no excuses from me if indy wins

before you mention the 2 int returns for TD's, CrazyL, please note that GB had 3 more first downs, and total yds were even, so yes, defense was the difference
indy got lucky getting all those turnovers from baltimore the previous week, but the luck did not go their way the following week at green bay
i built this into my 'capping. its tough to get the turnover breaks 2 straight wks, because turnovers, while some are caused, are mostly a function of good luck

You were most certainly correct. My parlay went 2/3

Thank you sir.
I had BYU, last Thursday when they got killed
I had Tampa Rays, on the same night when they gave up the 7 run lead
Also, same night, my worse NHL night of the year
Got it back, feels great?
Also, what do you guys think about a Bronco/under parlay tonight?
Hey Crazyl, got anything for Tennis?

Belichick has pretty good stats the game after getting his ass beat, the Denver rush defense may be just what the Dr ordered for the Pats. I'd be careful of fading him too many times this year, because they'll still probably finish in alright standings, but the under sounds good.
No tennis yet but if I see anything I like, I'll post in our tennis subforum.
