    Can someone briefly explain how the lines in Tennis are set? Like Federer is -4 today against his opponent. Thanks in advance

    same as nfl. you get spread from ml odds. the only difference is when there is a 5 setter the spread is going to be a little bigger.

        Fed -4 means that he needs to win by 5 games for the bet to cash. If he wins by exactly 4, it's a push. So if it's 62, 62 Federer, he's won by 8 and it's an easy winner.

        If it's 64 76, you lose. Careful with those as they can be tricky, better to bet Moneylines or even sets.

            The options for American tennis players are extremely limited, however 5Dimes and BetPhoenix are good outs to have.
