                  I was at the game

                  Wind was blowing in strong

Knocked down many fly balls that would have been home runs

Rangers hit A's pitcher hard but the ball either got knocked down by the wind or hit right at the A's fielder

                    Fukk you talking about?

He averages less than 2 a game. Had 3 tonite, but none that hurt them. He had unreal stuff tonite, Rangers simply didn't get the breaks to score any runs for him.

If you don't think Yu is the real deal yet, you need to watch more baseball.

Don't you dare disrespect my Rangers, Bi-Archie.

                      Yu pitched well

2 of the runs scored on him could have been prevented

The home run was a no doubter but the wild pitch was just a bad pitch and the first run Michael Young missed and Beltre would have fielded it had he been playing 3rd

Yu actually outpitched the A's pitcher... A's pitcher only struck out 2 guys and had 9 fly ball outs to 6 ground ball outs. A's pitcher was lucky wind was blowing in tonight or he would have been out by the 3rd inning based on how hard the Rangers were hitting the ball.

Once again, fading thread creation selections comes through.

Sure fire way to make money betting baseball or any other sport is to fade all selections that come with their own created thread.

Opie, I thought when the wind was blowing in at Arlington, it created a jet stream that carried the balls out?

Not tonight, the thunderstorm that passed through about an hour before game time messed with the atmospheric conditions

On a normal night the Rangers score 10+ runs. Rangers came out pounding the ball. At least 4 balls were caught on the warning track alone, and that's not counting Craig Gentry's double that bounced off the wall that would have been an in the park home run had Cespedes not kicked the ball over the wall for a ground rule double.

Wasnt just the wind, it was also extremely humid since a storm passed through an hour before gametime. For the first 4 innings or so it was absolutely miserable in the stands(especially in left field where I was sitting) because it was about 100% humidity but the sun was out and shining bright. It felt like a sauna. With the combined sun heat and humidity I don't think I have ever felt so miserable at a baseball game before, and yes I sat through a 35 degree game with the wind blowing 40 MPH before.

hes allowed the most walks of any AL pitcher. he actually averages more than 3 a game, in fact he walked 6 last month.

3 of their 5 starters are currently on the DL. Plus the guy who is arguably their most valuable pitcher of all, Ogando, is on the DL as well. The fact that this team has continued to win at th rate they have is unbelievable. Tell me one other team that could lose 4 of their top 5 pitchers to the DL and still be far and away the best team in baseball?

                                              I didn't think so.....

You will probably see Greinke or Dempster in a Ranger uniform in the very near future. If so they will be tough to beat. Ogando is the key right now and needs to get healthy. He can pitch anywhere in the rotation or bullpen and be a game changer.

Texas is very good and will be six deep in the rotation quite soon, team to beat for sure.
