Is it just me or watching soccer in English sucks?
Any bilingual posters that grew up watching it in a different language? I just don't feel the same emotions with these English dudes.

watch soccer with my employees at work and they all watch mexican soccer. It does seem like it more exciting than watching it in english. Maybe all the announcers have action on the games.

I suppose if English isn't your first language that would make sense..but if you don't speak spanish its hard to follow those..I will admit though, some Barca games I have seen on espn3, those announcers go crazy every time Messi or someone of that stature scores
Of course they do. They fuked our women, took our gold, brought disease to our people, and shoved christianity down our throats. But we really don't hate them that much. We see them as our representatives in Europe lol.

They probably do. And they always have at least 2 announcers on different sides do that no matter who scores they call it with feeling.

England-style announcing is very dry. Spanish-style announcing is the commentator going a mile a minute, making even a boring game sound exciting on the radio.
English style is very "to the point" - anyone that's watched a match on Telefutura with the "goool goool goool azo azo azo" guy will know the ridiculous amounts of random stuff he throws in there. It really does enhance interest.

I like the Spanish/Argentine speaking commentators, they really lift the mood and I don't speak the language.
There's one guy who sings after a goal is scored, funny stuff, anyone know what his name is?

Thanks, could've been him when I watched Norwich vs Man City, Tevez with a hatrick, Aguero with two and an English guy scored the last. He sang for Tevez and Aguero but not for the English guy.
