No, Rays won't lose twice at home. Remember, Shields has been almost unhittable at home all year and he pitched more than good enough to win when he lost 2-0 to Dice-K in Game 1.

It's never over til it's over, but the rays certainly have the advantage. I turned the tv off last night after I saw that it was Rays 5-0 in the 7th inning. I woke up to find that the Red Sox won.

Shields is pretty badass at home with a 2.59 ERA in the regular season. I'm looking at his gamelog and he only had 2 bad games at home all year and they were both late in the season.

good god, this loss isnt devastating. this is baseball there are 162 games. they lost a big lead. they took 2 of 3 in boston and RAPED lester, beckett, and dice k. they are fine. they wont blow this. bostons hitters show up for 3 innings out of the whole series

I mean for how bad Red Sox pitchers have been Tampa hitters have been out of this world. the Universe balances itself out. I could see TBay having a down game swinging the bats. Beckett is no slouch.

Couldn't agree more with you. I notice that some people trash you but most of your baseball picks especially in the playoffs have been correct. Everyone who bet on sox for the series are just trying to convince themselves they can pull it off. Just face it guys. Sox are done. However I do think that Rays can beat Phils.....

if the sox win game 7, the pressure will be too much for the rays in game 7 and they might as well not even play it

if the rays could not close out the sox up 7-0 late in the game, i dont see how they can close them out in a game 7 scenario with all that pressure

grant balfour has allowed runs in like 2 games in the last month

bullpens have bad games. rays are up 3-2 and everyone here cant get over their biases about boston. beckett is hurt, lester already got slammed once and tampa is great at home

Tampa is the play tomorrow.
Those guys are Pros..there is no such thing as a devastating loss for them anymore once the game has started. Look at the Sox, iam sure they didn´t feel all too well when down 0-7, but they got it done.
Better team, better pitcher and at home - line should be at least -150 so i´ll have to take it at -135 or maybe better at Matchbook tomorrow.

They are pros, but they are not champs. Red sox are, and they know how blessed they are to have another shot at advancing. Ortiz broke out of a slump with a monster home run, look for all of Boston's offense to erupt tomorrow.

You can't make an accurate prediction of how Tampa will react to this, because they have never been in this situation before. We can with the red sox as we see them cruise through October year to year.
