3 team parlay should pay 6-1 that is the going rate....unless ties are a push then you could give some on that....this guy sounds like an absolute idiot...tell you friend to get a clue and either get a better local or start playing offshore.

i swear, that is exactly what i did in high school.. my parlay cards looked exactly the same.. except my 4 teamers were 8-1.. and ties you lose of course. Talk about cleaning up.. it wasn't much, as avg card was 5 bucks.. i made about 200 a week, but wasn't worth it. lost alot of friends.. they all owed me money.. word of advice, NEVER bet with friends.. it's a fast way to lose them..


but best was hockey.. my card looked like this.. no joke.

MTL -1 over BOS
PHI -1 over CHI
NYI -2 over PIT


and ties.. YOU LOSE..

alot of 3 team parlays would go 2-0 and 1 tie.. and it'd lose..

almost every hockey game was a tie on the spread.. I used to make my own lines too.. no paper had them and there were no bookies i knew in town at that age. My whole life has been making lines, till today.....

I'm perfectly aware of them. Thanks. I live in Vegas and could tell you the parlay odds at every casino here. That doesn't necessarily mean that there is not a +EV play on the card.

Noting wrong with a work place pool. Pick 10 College games, 10 NFL plus use MNF as the tie-breaker. All against the spread, $5 per play with the scorer getting a free card but it's given to another person in a sealed envelope to avoided any doubters. Winner gets 75% of the cash, runner up 25%. Fun, fast and easy.

The only good thing about those cards are the lines are so off. Ex. Jax will be +4 online and + 6.5 on cards. There is value but the payouts do suck.
