tonight, tcu's veteran o-line will get great jumps off the ball and push around the byu frontmen, look for the tcu running gm to have success early and then open up some passing lanes for an avg tcu passing gm to have some shots downfield

tcu's defense is tough at all positions, they blitz, they cover man to man, and they keep you playing behind the chains, they will give byu's offense more problems than the cougs have faced in many many months

remember, ucla's defense in 2007 was strong and they held byu to only 17 pts in the las vegas bowl

this tcu defense might be better than that ucla defense was

i mentioned how tcu's defense would give byu's offense more trouble than they have had in a long time. well, byu's offense was held to just 7 pts, their lowest offensive output since the first game of the '05 season (held to 3 pts by boston college). that was over 40 games ago!

i also mentioned that tcu's rush offense would have success against an untested byu defense, who had the fortune of playing anemic offensive teams so far. well, tcu had 240 yds rushing last night, completely dominated the line of scrimmage against a byu defense that was on their heels the entire night
