They should start early games at 3pm. Late games at 6pm and one late game at 930 from the west coast every sunday. 2 games on monday as well. If you live on the west coast all games are done by 4pm local time except late game.

Dont think it has to do with gambling. Probably all the games that start and arent shown on TV because an early game is in OT or is late.

LB, is this only the late games that used to start at 4:15, or the ones that start at 4:05? I ask because the network that shows only one game at 4:05 on a given week probably wouldn't want to fill 20 minutes of pre-game coverage.

Maybe the NFL would allow them to show the end of the early game even if you're supposed to only get a late game?

10-20 minutes should be enough to give a 5-10 minute window in between, whereas it used to be most of the 1pm games were still finishing up by the time the late games kicked

4:05 games will STILL start at 4:05. Only games that used to start at 4:15 got moved to 4:25.

not a fan of this at all. I was fine with the 4:05 start time. Those 20 minutes are gonna make a huge difference as games will end much later and change my entire sunday nights. I loved all the games ending by 7 the latest and having time to prepare for sunday night game

You should be "prepared" or Sunday night game before the 1:00 games even start. Change from 4:15 to 4:25 means nothing to me from betting standpoint.

Only the games that are nationally televised are moving to 4:25, all other games are remaining the same 4:05 start. Also read somewhere that one Vegas sportsbook estimated a raise in handle by 1-2%, nothing major.
