Celtics cleaned up at #21 and #22-Sullinger and Melo
Both players are massive and fit the Celtics "Warrior-like" mentality. Sullinger will score and Melo will provide the defense with Garnett as a mentor. I love these picks at these positions

melo is an idiot. he wasn't even able to be coached up by boeheim which is pretty bad considering he's one of the best ever. if you watched the end of any cuse games this season melo was always on the bench. he didn't even qualify for the tourney because he was academically ineligible, don't even understand how that's possible with as easy as they make athlete's schedules, cause let's face it, melo wasn't at cuse to be a scholar

^apparently he just started to learn English a couple years ago... not saying he's a genius or anything, but that certainly played a big role in his academic struggles.

Great value picks here, if even 1 pans out I'll be happy

Great draft for Boston. Don't forget Jeff Green comes back too.

Now they have a younger version of big baby and olawakandi. Should receive a grade of f for the two bench players

I like the way Danny Ainge played this. Like both these pix. Rather have either one of these guys then Tyler Zeller. He will suck in the NBA and not even come close to Marcus Camby type status. Melo and Sullenger both have potential and I will say at least one of them will do great things for the Celtics if not both.

as a celts fan...honestly....ive been one of the biggest detractors of perry jones....i trashed him all year during the college hoops season......hes passive....soft...frail.....doesnt have a mean streak or protect the rim.....

but i really wanted the celts to take a shot at him...i think KG might have been the one guy that could have brought alot out of him....sure if he doesnt really have the defensive prowess now hell prob never really get it......but i think KG could have brought something out of that kid possibly......he could have helped a little now and provided potential for rebuilding too....

Melo is garbage, not a fan at all. Sully is fantastic.

Truth be told, Celtics are one of the franchises that can make Melo work.

The dude is a young, old Tim Thomas - except with less offense.

Settle down they were 1 game away from the nba finals with a 4 man roster. guaranteed to make the playoffs with only pierce and rondo. they don't even need garnett to make the playoffs in the east.

The real steal of this draft, which seemingly nobody here is talking about is how a finals team drafted a top 5 talent, at a specific position of need.

                                PJ3 is legit.

You took the words right out of my mouth. At 6 foot 4 1/2, Chuck Barkley was an outright beast. He'd dominate most top players today. Guarantee it!
