Cavs are also 20 million under the cap... they can get good fast through trades. They have 2 1st rounders again next year, potentially 3 if the Kings aren't in the lottery.
24 min a game @ the college level is "starter minutes"
A month ago he was projected to go around pick 20. His agent decides it's best NOT to work out for any teams & shoots UP from #20 to #4?? What am I missing here??

it seems like only syracuse fans like this pick. they had the 4th 24th 31st and 33rd pick and ended up with waiters zeller and kelenna azuibuike (mavs trade), no wonder why lebrom hightailed it outta town.

waiters is a stud, going to be a very good player in this league... But can't agrue against taking Thomas Robinson either...

Taking Waiters at #4 was a small reach, but not big enough to make a big deal out of it. Once MKG and Beal were off the board, Waiters was the next best fit for them. Sure Robinson may have the better career, but they drafted Tristan Thompson last year who plays the same position as Robinson. Just wouldn't have worked. I think everyone can agree that Robinson is a better player than Thompson, but I don't think the Cavs were ready to throw the towel in on Thompson.
