Went to vegas few weeks ago placed a few bets that occurred when I left. Sent in my tickets and they send me a check for my winnings.. My question is, anyone ever do this? How long till I receive my mail pay check?

#4Depends on the casino some very fast could have in a few weeks. Others very slow could take a couple months.
Did you send it registered so you have proof they received it ?Comment -

#5I was hoping I'd have in a week after a few days of having it go thru the mail. I just sent it regular mail where it would take 2-3 days to get there. So in reality I would have no clue if it got there or not, just assuming it did.Comment -

#7Yeah I was hoping they were fast on payout. I even wrote on the tickets "moving in mid July if possible you could issue check and send back ASAP please, thank you!"Comment -

#8I wouldn't do it for large amounts. I'm sure someone you trust either lives there or will be going there some time soon, safer to do it that way. Did you use a players card when you made the bet? I know at certain casinos, they can track the wager in case you lose the ticket, but it is a long process to claim it if lost. Hopefully they get it and you get paid without any problems. #9Well I figured id just send in instead of holding onto ticket, and waiting. Yes I always use a players card. Flamingo is a top establishment, I don't see any problems occurring as opposed to if it was a Rinky dink whole in wall book in Podunkville Nevada.Comment -

#18I did it once because I was too lazy to walk back to the casino. Was a joke bet though with my family, they don't know I gamble for big amounts. Ticket was only $200, Mandalay took like 3 weeks I would guess from what I remember.Comment -

#19Do this every March. Have done it at Harrahs and Mlife properties alike. Always get a check.

#23My buddy mailed in his winning Stanley Cup winner from last year (Bruins) in March 2012 and had his check 5 weeks later. (He's in Canada) It was from Cantors sportsbook.Comment -

#24Sorry buddy, I forgot about this thread.
Quickest ever was maybe a week and a half, I am sure it didn't take 2 weeks. That was at the Gold Coast, all tickets were there.
Longest was Monte Carlo, well over a month. Only had a few tickets. I was stupid that time, and had multiple bets at multiple areas.
Certified mail is all I have ever done, and have to take picture/xerox of tickets for proof.
Flamingo is respectable, I am sure they will pay if you didn't protect yourself with the above method.
I don't have any history with mailing in to the flamingo book.Comment -

#25I stayed at the Rivera and mailed my Kentucky ticket in a few weeks after they won. I didn't photo copy or send certified, I included the self addressed, stamped envelope for the return. Took about 2 weeks and I got it back. No issuesComment -

#26Thanks all. Yeah honestly I'm not worried about not being paid by not doing certified mail or makin copies of the tickets. Figured my players card history is always a back up plan just in case. Hoping I get it in a week and half 2 at most.Comment -
