Doesn't hit for average, he could get on base more, know this though, he's good for 30 dingers plus a year, and only Joey Bats has a more vicious, violent swing.

Yeah but he wins games by his power alone and he's good for about 270.avg a year and only get better, havnt seen alot of trout been watching Stanton since the minors and he is the most dangerous hitter I can remember since pujols

I love CarGo but my biggest knock against him is his home/away disparity, suggesting he is aided by Coors.

I pity you all that don't see the greatness in Michael Nelson Trout.

Oh I think Trout is the obvious answer here because he is 20 years old and he has all five tools.

But "best player" should be defined by someone that does everything well. Plus Trout's age means that barring injury, he should still be productive at age 35 in 15 years whereas others mentioned here will be past their prime.

Trout could seriously be the greatest player to ever play in history when it is all said and done... he is THAT good and talented....

think Mickey Mantle, without the booze.....

might be fastest dude in the league and can hit bombs like Hamilton...and his body is still maturing.

if he takes care of himself and trains, he'll get the first 45 million dollar per year contract

I think someone mentioned it could be a teenager in a Dominican baseball academy or something. Or anther HS kid that is 15 now that we haven't heard of Luke we hadn't with Harper till SI revealed him. Can't think of anyone that has proved so much with so much skill and raw talent as Trout has so far. So there really is NO reason to think he'll get worse

Now, when they were hanging out together, do you think they were doing crack and banging whores, or sitting around and reading the bible? Grow up, man. I expect better from you.
