dont be naive, the nats dont want him to mess up his development by going into the derby as a 19 year old rookie. kemp/most people with good sense know this and he spouted off that as an excuse.

Your right the HR derby means nothing, but its for the fans, but then again MLB doest care those re-tards still dont use instant replay besides for homeruns.

I forget how serious this all is again.. Cant wait to see 50 yr old Carlos Beltran hitting in the derby.. Oh wait it might mess up his swing...
