The thing is if you start Durant at the 3 and James at the 4, what PF in the world is going to guard Lebron James or if you switch they can't guard Durant either. If the US goes with that lineup it will be impossible for them to lose.

Teams will have to try and play zone. No big man can be asked to guard an elite perimeter player.

Men to win the gold is probably the easiest bet of the year...they are just too talented for anyone out there but the line is not the greatest obviously

He didn't say anything that people who followed the 2008 Olympics didn't already know. They were favored by 23 in the Gold medal game vs. Spain then too.

Well USA was only -11 vs. Spain in a road exhibition game so I think saying they would be favored 20+ was a wild prediction that came true

Two key words there Road & Exhibition. At the Olympics in London and when a medal is on the line you'd be crazy to think any line would be under 20 this year, not a wild expectation at all IMO

USA was only -600 or so to win the gold and that is with heavy future juice, so they were forecasting lower lines but the USA was impressive and Spain lost a couple games

Once again if you followed the 08 Olympics this shouldn't shock you. Futures were like that then as well. USA was -500 Spain about +500 in futures but they met in the Gold Medal game and the ML was bigger than today +3000 maybe.

The Men are a lock imo. But stay away from the women. I don't trust them either and its a horrible price their is no way they should be such heavy favorites

The woman are more of a lock then the men.

The world has caught up with the men. The woman are still on another level. They are the real "Dream Team".
