OK Guys.....Errani is -5350 right now. She has match point. Even if she fails to capitalize on the next point, she'll be in a duece situation. Even if she doesn't win that, she will be serving for the match. Even if she doesn't get that it's 5-5, and she's up a set.

If this even worth looking at? At this point a retirement is a push, as winner must win 2 sets.

so let's be generous to vandeweghe and say she has 1/4 chance of winning the game. then if she wins the game, probably 1/4th chance of winning the set. if she wins the set, then at best 1/4th chance of winning the match.

so 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4 is 1/64 odds (and i'm being generous) which would be -6300 on errani

check the matches before that before calling me a liar

i had her (i think) as a dog for 3 straight matches before the loss to sharapova, so by my calculations winning 3 times as a dog, losing once as a dog, and then almost certainly winning again when the match resumes results in profit
