Hanley Ramierez (versus) Westbrook
or
Michael Young (versus) Porcello
I have gone back and forth 10x in the last hour.

Michael Young in that launchpad called Texas stadium do it
Let Hanley sit for the series against the Cards in that pitchers park
Young can unload in the next 3 days against the kitties, no Verlander or Sherzer, Texas should score

That's the way I'm thinking too, plus SB's pay a premium.

I'd probably take Hanley..
Hanley has more power.. HR potential > all
Michael Young is a leftie destroyer, but he's going against a rightie and this year he hasn't hit as well against righties..

those the only two choices?
I'd take Pedro Alvarez over any 3rd basemen in the league tonight, vs Blanton

When in doubt, go with the player on the bigger favorite, and the higher total. The odds makers say that Young will have more opportunities.

Pedro is too expensive, salary cap of 100K

Nash, Pedro may be too expensive but that guy is hot right now. He gets to play in the hitters park of Philly against Joe Blanton who has given up more than 5 earned in 6 of his last 7 starts. Pedro is 2 for 3 in his career against Blanton. I'd be looking for a way to slide him in there. If you must use Young or Hanley I would probably ride Young. He has good numbers against Porcello 6 for 12 lifetime. Good Luck with what you decide.

ah ok.... is this draftstreet? I know how it works then. I just ran out of money there about a week ago, so I didn't realize that Pedro was getting higher on him. The market seems to be slow on some of these lesser known guys in smaller markets...

Michael Young for me. He will rock that Tigers pitching staff.
