Drove into Dallas yesterday to spend the night at Great Wolf Lodge. Kiddo turns 5 tomorrow, so we brought her & a friend up here for the weekend.

Fukkin room cost $470 for a one night stay. Total fukkin ripoff.

On the upside, we went to Rainforest Cafe for dinner last night. Waitress was a total fukkin idiot. After no drinks or food for 45 mins, I finally bitched out the equally clueless manager on what a shit job she was doing running that restaurant. In the end, she wound up comping the whole meal. Which she absolutely should've, because the service was totally unacceptable. So there's $100 bill I saved.

Still way, way down for the w/e though.

We've been to the one in DisneyWorld several times. She loves it. I think it totally sucks.

Not only is the food terrible & ridiculously overpriced, but they break it off in you a little more by giving you equally pathetic service.

Fukk that place. I told my wife we're never going back. She rolled her eyes at me and said I said the same thing after our last 3 trips there.

That damn little girl of mine owns me....and unfortunately she realizes this now. I'm fukked.

If you get up in the morning you can do a lot, I ride a bicycle 40-80 miles a day and/or run 6-15 miles a day, 7 days a week and still have more than enough time to get online. I am an old man too, at least my these kids standards. I already rode into Malibu, and back, thats 48 miles, this morning and its only 945 or so here and been back almost an hour. I imagine a lot of the west coast guys arent even up yet.

You go up to Latigo canyon??

That is a long loop from where I live.

i go up mulhullond and do the potrero loop once in awhile, and the yorba loop. I went into Westwood friday, that was 110 miles round trip but we walked around Venice and Santa Monica in between so it only counted as two separate 55 mile rides.

Usually I go to Trancas and do a turn so its out and back on PCH mostly no loop, sometimes I will ride up to malibu canyon road/pepperdine and do a turn, thats a 75 mile out and back ride.

But latigo canyon back up through to the mulhullond loop and back onto portero is about an 85 mile loop I would guess. might be a decent ride but not one I have ever done before.
