Not sure the Mavs present much of a challenge even with Deron williams there. Maybe though, I'd have to see how it plays out. Deron Williams is my favorite Non Bulls NBA player so I'm interested to see what happens with him.

last year he showed up fat and chucked up a lot of brick 3's. nets used to never cover ATS. i used to bet them all the time ATS because i thought he will keep it close, but they got blown out over and over. i think maybe he has regressed some. he used to be really really good, but now who knows if he will try hard.

The Lakers already have basically a big 3 if the staff wasn't such assholes always scrutinizing Gasol, if Kobe did try to make his teammates better for once and if that prick Bynum showed some consistency and focus once and for all. Still, 3 guys with a combined 65 PER or something. That's huge.

The Mavs don't need to lose anyone on their roster that's actually valuable. Terry and Kidd can resign for vet minimum. Not sure Terry will do that but he will never ask for much money. Only black sheep in there really is Haywood.

i dont know about opening day but it will happen. dwight will get traded but will any team give him the big contract he wants coming off of a back injury?? he will have to show he can play with orlando in the beginning then he gets traded and gets the contract that he wants. thats the reason he got the one year deal with orlando he knew he that no team doctor would have ever accepted his back the way it was. he took the extension got paid for this year, proves his back is healthy then gets the long term deal he wants
