I took the runline with a 3 ERA pitcher on the mound versus a 9 ERA who hasnt had a win all year, yea hindsights 20/20 when the fukin 3 ERA goes homerun derby and gives up 11 through 5 innings and pitches to a fukin 20 ERA but at the time I thought it was decent

well I watched him do it in MN like half a dozen times...the guy is a beast, he has the ability to come off the bench and pound one 460ft better than any other pinch hitter in the game right now

era is an indicator but not the magic formula. lewis is not a good pitcher worthy of being a -200 + favorite. i dont care what his era is or who he is pitching against. taking teams who are being bet on by 85% of people is not wise either.

if u were to dig a little deeper.

rockies are 3rd in the league in scoring.

if you split up lewis 14 starts. 7 weakest opponents and 7 strongest opponents. (runs per game)

7 strongest: lewis era 3.88
7 weakest: lewis era 1.69

i think this loss also brings lewis to around -5 units in 4 games where he was -200+.

Kennedy shut down the Rangers and Angels in back to back starts so I play the Diamondbacks today thinking he can shut down the Cubs and gives up a 2 run shot to the fukkin pitcher
