    my friend lost 1/3 of her 401k and now wants to know if you should start doubling up while the market is this low?

      2 ways to do this, dollar cost average or catch a falling dagger

      really depends on age. market could sit at 9000 for another 10 years and i guess she can make 1/10 of 1% on any GM stock dividend

            Too risky then. Sell stocks on rallies and buy bonds/CDs. She shouldn't gamble her retirement on stocks alone.
