Most Profitable Sport

for me its basketball because i'm a die hard fan. i'm up in NFL too but have taken some bad beats. anyways alot of people say college football is very profitable but i have no knowledge of the sport. mlb, nhl i have no interest in so i don't know if i would do well in those. anyways whats generally the most profitable sports and can i get in without much background information?

I do my best handicapping on golf, both PGA and Champions Tour. I tried to get a handle on LPGA action but it still eludes me.

Horse Racing (toss in greyhounds as well).

I know quite a few that make a living playing the races.

Never meet a single one that does it off sports. I know the Vegas books need management approval for very small bets on the dogs (with payout caps and which they book themseleves). I've hit them a few times on very small bets and they basically refuse wagers after that point.

I couldn't imagine what would hapeen if week in and week out someone were to hit them for $5k or so on sports.

I think baseball is and it is a predictable sport for the most part.

Hockey might be up there for the hardcore guys along with soccer.

Tennis is probably the most profitable. The amount of dogs (> +300) winning has been amazing this year.

Just some of the upsets....

Almost everyone (+1000) over Federer
Safina (+1000) over Serena

Plus it's year-round.

The easiest to beat for handicapping (assuming you are betting into WA numbers) are going to be smaller markets with lower limits. Basically, the higher the limits, the harder it is to beat.

Call me a liar too but I'm up on NFL. its only a grand but nevertheless, up. only thing is seems like when I play big i get jewed. 2 years into sports betting, i have realized sports betting is not a career. might as well do some homework now lol
