I was just watching videos of emmitt he broke a lot of tackles. To me he had a lot of great moves too.

I don't see anybody breaking it. Especially now that the NFL has really turned into a passing game.

You know Troy only had 15 passing tds in 93 I think lol. And they won the Super Bowl. Nfl has changed so much.

The rules would have to be changed to favor the run, not the pass like it's been for 20 years.

Emmitt took care of himself. He played through injures. He wasnt the fastest or the strongest RB, but he brought it each and every day. It is funny how he has haters who only talk about his offensive line... Like Emmitt wasnt a star in Florida, Like the Oline wasnt there before Emmitt with less then stellar results. When you win a championship, everybody on your team looks great.

Maybe, if the NFL ever expands the regular season or strategy/rule changes encourage the run game more.

I can't find the thread I started a few years ago, but I've been saying this for year, just because LT broke down so early and quickly at 30. I'll embed if I can find it.

Game has changed, it is rare to have a sole feature back. Even the teams that do that, are investing in quality backups, i.e. Bears with Bush, Vikings with Gearhart, etc.

Since the life of the RB is shorter than ever, and the fact that it is most likely by committee of some sort, there is not a chance in hell.

The worst part, Smith is not even the best running back. I am a bear fan through and through, so I have a bias towards sweetness, but there is not a more talented and awe inspiring runner than Sanders. Guy was incredible. Sacrelig, I know.
