Why do people hate interleague play so much? I've always liked it.. I like being able to see teams that you usually wouldn't see throughout the course of the season

But its all about money these days

Would love to go back to the old ways, no interleague play and 2 divisions top 2 teams in each division are in playoffs

It doesn't worry me as much as it obviously worries you, although it does get slightly tiring.

the problem with interleague is how unbalanced the schedule becomes.

the rangers got to play 6 games against the astros and now 3 against the padres. talk about an unfair advantage.

I hate interleague and wish they would just end it.

Here's the thing. In NBA, there are no meaningful distinctions between West and East. In NFL, no meaningful differences between AFC and NFC. NHL same thing. But in MLB, there are major differences between the two leagues. So given these differences, one team (i.e. the AL team) has a major advantage in every matchup. Not to mention, the schedules are imbalanced. Why do the Cardinals get to the play the Royals six times a year and the Mets have to play the Yankees 6 times a year....does this make any sense? How is this fair? Just make a balanced schedule MLB please!
