I told you guys years ago these guys are all broke no matter who they are, the only guys with any money are the ones backing them because they take their money out as soon as these scumbags get paid.

Most of these guys are all backed only a handful play with their own money most guys get backed and most play for a 40% split. Which generally they never see any part of because every time they cash they still havent paid off their debts.

Being a poker pro is one of the biggest jokes there is. These guys all claim to be professionals but most dont make any money and cant even afford the taxes on the winnings they won for a backer. I am surprised that hasnt been a big issue, but I suppose a few backers help the guys out there or the government hasnt gotten around to auditing these guys yet.

Now that the big boom is over and all those scams have dried up and the endorsement and book deals are gone these guys are back to actually having to play to try and get paid. Which was never any good for most of them. Thats why they did the endorsement, book, and scam internet site deals in the first place.

low level games are a joke too, if there isnt enough money in front of a guy to make him willing to lay down the best hand in the face of a 'big' bet then the game isnt worth playing.

I hear these fairy tales of guys beating 1-2 NL games with 100-300 dollar buy ins. Sure if youre really lucky you might get a score, but if you try to play with actual technique and wait to play quality hands you'll bury yourself. Because you will be getting drawn out on more often than not. If guys dont have enough on the table to make them at least think about calling then you cant beat the game, its as simple as that.

I have watched guys call inside straights for a lot of money and hit, obviously it isnt going to happen all the time but if youre in a low limit game and you get sucked out on and get felted then that makes getting back to even that much harder on that table if youre limited to what you can buy in for and a bunch of retards have chips that will make you (a 'smart' player) fold a good hand. So at those levels it is mostly about luck and has very little to do with actual skill. While luck is a big part of the game, the higher the limits and amount of money sitting on the table the less luck factors into it.
