Hacks at the ball and sits on home plate watching. I would make him clean the fukkin clubhouse toilets with a toothbrush.

And then i would release him.

Cannot win with that kind of attitude/player.

Well... Feel good with my red sox play

    Just made an identical thread.

Luckily for Soriano the Cubs are tanking so that type of effort is encouraged.

Currently the biggest joke of a team in MLB. theyre like the Leafs of baseball.

Lack of hustle inexcusable. Is it too much to ask to hustle 90 ft a couple times a game??

      Baseball is fukked sometimes

            Soriano quit.

Let's not promote this on SBR. Athletes and gamblers who quit never win.

Agreed, but with all the talk of the future in Cubs land, he probably feels he only needs to go half ass. He needs to clean up all the used sunflower seed shells in the dugout.

Also, WTF is up with the outfield? Their grounds crew get laid off?

                He did nothing wrong.

He hit a scorching line drive down to third, that he thought was gloved by the third baseman. In his sadness, he dropped his head, disappointed he couldn't help his teammates.

                Show him some compassion.

It wasn't as bad as Ortiz's baserunning in the first inning. Haven't seen anything that bad in years.

he might be about done now, but underachiever?

how many players have as many 30/30 seasons as him? the answer is 2.
he will be top 50 in career homeruns when he retires.
18-46 home runs for 11 consecutive years.
he will have over 2000 hits
                          .274 career average.

hof? prob not but how can you say he underachieved?

fyi: i am not a soriano fan
