Who should this sorry ass team take to help turn it into something the resembles a N.F.L. team? If you were in charge what would you do?

Have them play the Woulverines on a neutral site, say in Alaska.
The loser ends their program.

One of your radio guys made mention of obtaining a second first rounder and doing just that. So many holes to fill. Where to start?

Problem is neither team can find the endzone.
Richie needs to get canned - he fvcked up big time, breaking a 30+ year streak of bowl games.
Millan's players are still on the team, they need to be removed as well.
Set the line in the "Who gives a crap game?"

I know I'm in the minority here, but I feel all College and NFL teams should play outdoors.

Honestly, this would help the Lions.
Especially when they host Tampa Bay in December.

The rule is a team can't take 4 WR's in consecutive years.

The Lions are on the right track by finally getting rid of Matt Millen, however they need to retool there entire front office in order to start the turnaround process.

Stafford might as well start looking for property in Detroit or KC

actually Detroit has a couple of gaping needs. Trading down won't happen due to the current rookie contract styles, so either draft QB...or draft a RB... They need a workhorse...they currently dont' have one.
rounds 2-3-4 should be used to get O-line and D-line. They have alot of needs...thats for sure...

Michael Vick would solve their problems, he would take the focus off how bad they are

If Bradford enters the draft, they will almost certainly draft him. I would also try to hire someone who is good with QBs/offense as HC, like Garrett, but he refused to interview.

Hire Bill Parcells ASAP. Parcells has an opt-out from his Miami contract, if he chooses. Thing is, he probably has no interest in going to Detroit. Miami is one of the crown jewel franchises in the NFL, why leave? Then again, Parcells seems like a man who enjoys a challenge? What greater challenge than resurrecting the Lions?

I say QB in the first round, Kevin Smith is young and will get even better. He's averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
Anyone think that next season they will be this years Miami Dolphins?
