1) kansas to beat memphis in the ncaa final, i posted it BEFORE the tourney began

2) boston +170 to beat the lakers

3) federer to rise again and win a major, after everyone here except myself and about 2 others buried him in august

4) usc to rise up after the oregon state loss, i posted that nigh

and look whats happened, theyre already up to the top 5 in the harris and the usa today (both bcs formula polls) and its only been 3 weeks since they lost to osu

i am the sharpest college football + college hoops poster on this board

The fact that you say Iowa has a good chance of beating them is laughable. Iowa has no WR's. They will struggle to run against Penn State. Finally, I went to Iowa. You're no sharp. In case you didn't notice it, Iowa sucks against the spread and mobile quarterbacks. Iowa got smoked by Indiana the last two seasons. They've lost to pathetic NU 3 of the past 4 seasons. OSU of two years ago went to Kinnick and smoked them 38-17. This PSU team is better than that OSU team. Moreover, this Iowa team is definitely worse than the 2006 Iowa team. I've made a killing betting against the hawks against spread teams. Pathetic ISU moved the ball at will against the hawks, but couldn't punch it in. What do you think PSU is going to do.?
D Clark has no accuracy? Wow, you didn't see his perfect pass to D Will against UI on the wheel route. That's hilarious. You do realize Clark leads big 10 QBs in pass efficiency right? A crappy PSU team beat Iowa 27-7 last season with terrible Morelli.

Last year they beat Wisconsin 38-7. In case you didn't notice it, PSU is much better and Iowa is most certainly not. PSU will beat the Hawks by 2tds. NOrm Parker makes no adjustments. You think Trey Stross, DJK, Andy Brodell, Paul Chaney, and others are going to beat Penn State. Rick Stanzi is going to tear them up. You're hilarious. OSU yes, Iowa no. YOu fail. MOst importantly, I bet on OSU against Wisconsin and was scared the whole game. OSU D-line was man handled for most of the game. The same was not true for PSU. Terrelle Pryor threw for 97 yards against Purdue at home. OSU's WR can't get separation. I hope vegas favors OSU, that'll be the sweetest thing.

dude anybody that says Penn State is overrated is retarded, and has no feel of college football. alot of people were expecting them to barely beat Wisconsin, if at all. They destroyed them. damn, undefeated, blowin teams out and they are still overrated? what do they have to do to live up to this supposed "hype". big 10 football is nasty, I guess its only not as good as big 12 or SEC because stupid ass mark may doesnt mention big 10 enough. what a joke....thats what sucks about the ncaa system.

Penn State just went into Madison and laid 48 on Wisconsin...AT NIGHT.

I can see Ohio State playing PSU tough, but Iowa is a joke. Ferentz is gone after this year barring a small miracle, and there isn't a single position on the field that Iowa will have an advantage over Penn State at.

I still don't think we know how good Penn State is. This team reminds me of the 2005 team that went 11-1, but when I really think about it. Is Daryl Clark as good as Micheal Robinson? Is Evan Royster and Green as good as Tony Hunt? I think the answer to both is no. I think the defense is still questionable, especially because of who they lost.

Of course their offensive line is very good, and there are some playmakers on the outside, but I want to see them play a balanced team.

Darryl clark is indubitably a better "QB." He has great touch on his passes. M rob was a better runner, no doubt about that. Their seconary is tough and their D-line is great. Their linebackers other than bowman, are average at best. I currently attend ISU. I transferred from Iowa. PSU is for real. Royster is very shifty, I'd say that Hunt was a better north south runner. However, royster is much better at catching the ball.

I am an Iowa grad and love the Hawks, but just not sure they have enough firepower to hang with Penn State. I think we could win the game, but it will depend a lot on the gameplan of our coaches. Sometime the playcalling is genius, other times it is atrocious. We do have the personnel and defense to pull it off, however. If we can run Shonn Greene effectively and play good defense, we have a fighting chance. We need to get Kinnick rockin like it was in the 02-04 days!

I went to penn state, saw hunt and robinson live and i can tell you that clark and royster are a big upgrade...
