JJ is so right. 10-30 yrs ago, it was so rare, that when it happened, it was big news. You were on the cover of SI, and you were the talk for so long.

Today, it is a weekly thing. it's gotten so old. now when i hear it on the news, i turn the channel, cause it happens so often. it took over 100 yrs to get 21 perfect games? i bet you they will get the next 21 perfect games in the next 6 yrs. Almost every night, you see pitcher has a no hitter thru 6. that never used to happen. The game has changed, and pitchers now have the edge over hitters. No hitters do not have the same charm they once did. it's gotten boring.

Just like NHL players scoring 50 goals. in the 80's and early 90's, tons scored 50 every yr, and it wasn't much of a discussion back then. but today, if you score 50, you are a HOF, cause the game has changed and scoring goals is not what it once was. Same applies for No hitters today. Today's no hitters are like scoring 50 in the nhl 20 yrs ago. it's just boring.

Still a big deal. There is balance now. No 60+ home run season equals more no hitters, shutouts, and perfect games.

It would be a bigger deal if a good team gets no hit.. always seems like its Houston, Minnesota or Seattle so Noone cares

I do not even look anymore when guy throwing no no through 6 and a 3rd or 8 and a third

Years ago everyone would go nuts when potential no hitters we're taking place

                                Now nobody cares or watches

Perfect game is still one of the rarest events in baseball....but all the pitchers who throw no hitters but walk like 8 guys (i.e. Francisco Liriano, Edwin Jackson, Johan Santana, Annibal Sanchez, etc...) is not that impressive in my book.
