Go one way the whole way thru. Too much of an advantage for team with first two at home. Playing three in a row at home gets teams too comfy and gives road team an adv. NBA should change this.

But it IS the reason the NBA gives for doing it. Memphis is Central Time, so not as bad as East Coast vs. West Coast.

Apparently, NBA likes playing every 2 days. (middle three games are played within 5 days). Finals have been 2-3-2 forever, changing it would be equivalent to taking Thanksgiving away from Detroit Lions.

2-3-2 is a crap format. The lower team should never have more home games at any point in any format. If it only goes 5 games Miami will have had home court advantage, unfair.

baseball does this for lcs and world series, they kinda have to though. i think its insanely dumb for the nba to use this for one series only. the travel reason is bs, the nhl flew the stanley cup back and forth across the country for 5 days.
