This is all a moot point if 2 teams go undefeated because they will definitely be 1-2 in the end and play for the National Championship.

Remember:

The Big 12 can only produce 1 undefeated team. It might not even produce one given the schedules remaining for the undefeated teams.

The Sec can only produce 1 undefeated team, and again, probably will not.

Penn St. can go undefeated.

Those are the only options for undefeated major conference teams. BYU faces Utah November 22nd.

Boise St. can go undefeated without facing another team that is currently undefeated. The same is true for Ball St.

The maximum # of undefeated teams at the end of the season is six.

An x-1 OU team is probably the highest ranked 1 loss team at the end of the season, ahead of USC, due to the computers. Florida at x-1 might pass an x-1 OU team, but it would be close and depend on how the victories looked. USC at x-1 would probably be ahead of the non-major conference teams (assuming they are undefeated, obviously irrelevant if they lose), but not ahead of x-1 Florida or Oklahoma, and not ahead of an undefeated major conference team.

USC at x-1 vs. BYU at x-0 would be a tremendous debate and hopefully would permanently damage the BCS.

and yesterday, georgia barely beat a sorry ass tennessee team by 12 at home

last sat, usc destroyed a good oregon team by 34 pts at home
