I was not a fan at the time, but his yards per carry was phenomenal ---- the most impressive stat.

plus he was the only athlete I'm aware of in recent times that played two sports very well.

I am not saying he was not a very good player, but he played on the same team as Marcus Allen, missed games for baseball, andl his football career was not going to last much longer anyway. He was 25 years old his rookie year.
