Travis Gregory Stano says its a total disgrace that the Thunder are in NBA finals
Travis Gregory Stano said that the sports travesty/disgrace of the year that the Thunder are in the NBA finals. He said its crap that an inferior undeserving team like the Thunder are taking up a spot in the NBA finals when 2 far superior teams, Miami and Boston, are both far more deserving. He said that the Heat/Celtics series is pretty much the NBA finals and both teams would whitewash Oklahoma City.
He then said that neither Oklahoma City nor San Antonio would even be a Top 4 team in the Eastern Conference, and would likely not even be Top 7. He said even the Knicks are better than both teams.
Travis suggested that the NBA scrap the conference format and just seed the NBA playoffs based on an NCAA tournament style selection committee, this way the real deserving teams like Miami and Boston could meet in the NBA finals instead of having the finals ruined by scrub garbage undeserving teams like Oklahoma City.
Travis said under his suggestion, the NBA playoffs would have looked like this this year:
1. Miami vs. 16. Utah
8. Atlanta vs. 9. San Antonio
4. New York vs. 13. Orlando
5. LA Lakers vs. 12. Dallas
6. LA Clippers vs. 11. Philadelphia
3. Boston vs. 14. Memphis
7. Indiana vs. 10. Oklahoma City
2. Chicago vs. 15. Denver
Travis said this was the fairest way to do it, because he thinks Miami vs. Oklahoma City is a 2nd round level series at best.
