New casino just opened. Going to be massive with 5,000 something machines. MD not allowed to have table games yet but they did the work around with electronic BJ, roulette, baccarat, nl hold em' etc. Intrigued by this concept and wonder if they pay same odds as a real table or if they are set to shitty payouts as if they were slots and how they work the no limit set up to avoid people standing behind someones machine and tipping off someone across the table. Don't want to waste my time going there if I could just make the trip to Charles town for real tables. Live should be a lot nicer and better atmosphere than CT so i rather go there if the electronic games are equal to real tables.

Maryland Live! is a Nice Slots Casino

Went there today with my buddy. So weird going into a casino and not smelling smoke. Actually smelled like a new car. I would say 75-80% of machines are 1-2-5 cent multi, multi line. This is where they will make their $. The clientile were half vanilla and half chocolate. Bobby Flay, Cheesecake Factory, Asian Noodle House and few nice bars compromise the chomping grounds. They will have The Prime Rib restaurant which is upscale, pricey but very good food.

My bud and me stayed 2 1/2 hours and played constantly. We played single line red-white-blue 25 cents, white ice 25 cents (hit first pull 4X-7-7) paid $150. Also played $1 3-4-5X machine, no decent hit. Finished off playing video poker 25 cents 5 coin. Hit Bonus Poker 4 of a kind, some other minors. Payout tables on video poker very weak. Normally Bonus Poker pays 200 coin 2-3-4, 4 of a kind, and pays 400 coin 4 aces. Any 4 of a kind here pays 150 coin on 5 play. Not good, but we eeked out a win.

Result won $30 each, left casino and went and had a nice steak lunch. Nice experience, good entertainment.

Good info, Gold I'll take a video when I get up there. Still wonder what these electronic tables are all about. AC needs to stick to Christie's plan and get the sports betting set up ASAP.

We arrived at 9:45 am first morning opened and no problem. I imagine nights are totally different story. I am a morning casino/slots parlor player. You can have them all at night.

Smart on your part. Yea I imagine the scene is much different at night. That area had turned somewhat chaotic at night even before the casino.

This place should be packed non stop, could not have placed a casino in a better spot IMO. Right next to an outlet mall so men can gamble while women shop, very very close to the airport to serve as entertainment for out of towner in town on biz. 40 miles from DC right outside of Baltimore. Major Highway access. Excellent dining options and looks like they will put on some decent music entertainment. Place will be a cash cow. $500 million investment should bring excellent returns.

I went there saturday night, and walked out within 5 minutes.

I've never been to a casino before where you could not sit down. there were just so many black people. there were people blocking walk ways with chairs, it was hot as hell in there. you couldn't even walk without bumping into people. I didn't even spend a single penny. there was this 1 black woman that was so high she was nodding out at the slot machine. I was guarding my wallet the whole time, very unsafe feeling. there were way too many machines that were inoperable

it was by far the worst casino experience I've ever had in my life.

Stopped by the place and the electronic games were very popular. During the day hours the min bet is only 5 bucks on some of the machines, and you can play 4 different games without moving. They also had blackjack and 3 card poker tables with multiple screens so people can play together. They had a roulette wheel and dice in the middle for people to look at.
