soccer is "normally" boring but the World cup and Euro cup etc are great matches to watch.

NO IDEA how people can watch the lesser matches on a daily basis though. Would rather go to the dentist then watch a MLS game.

All those meaningless club games are boring, don't think I've ever watched a full game in my life.

When countries play it is always exciting, especially after the group stage where only winners go on.

Just think all the great games we'll see, Portugal/Germany, Italy/Spain, France/England, Russia/Poland then later possibly Poland/Germany and on and on. Great stuff.

champions league is the highest level of quality in this sport, higher than euros or world cup. Don't let the publicity fool you...these players spend 9-10 months out of the year with their club teams and hardly any time with their national team. That's exactly why spain has won the last euro and world cup....most of their players already play together on Barca.
