Maser it is a crapshoot right now, BYU will be in good position as will Penn St if they win tonight. It is a scramble between like 12 teams.

Texas vs. Penn St.

Texas has to beat Missouri and Penn St has to beat Ohio St, MSU

penn state has 3 tough games really... including the wisc game tonight... lions historically play like crap at camp randall..... and even Mighigan could be added as a tough game. Another team that state has a mental block with.. especially in the Shoe. out of those 4 games I can't see them running the table... possible two losses there. Hope i'm wrong about that. It should be interesting though.

SEC and big-12 are sooo tough this year, I think any of those teams with 1 loss are good canidates for BCS title game

Texas has too difficult of a schedule to go undefeated i don't think they will get in with one loss.

Penn St. will play for the national title, but expet them to lose to who knows who, could be Mizzou/Alabama/USC, whole bunch of others including outside chance for BYU like JJ said

I'm a bit biased as I grew up a penn state fan, and was the first in my fam NOT to go to PSU, but I dated a girl that did, and went to alot of games in happy valley.

I just missed being around for the golden Paterno era, and since they've entered the big ten they haven't put it all together save for one year. 10 years ago, they woulda been a greatly over valued team by the public. Now after many lackluster years, most people barely remember their "storied" history.


all that rambling to say As a pessimistic fan I need to see alot more from psu to believe. I may be one of the last ones to be convinced that they belong in the top 15. The way I see it 4 teams each from the SEC and Big 12 could beat psu 7 times out of 10. they are not a top tier team yet.

I don't like betting on the spread alot, but taking the points with wisc might be a better play... or wisc first half, as PSU always starts slow on the road in big games

I love Penn State this year, but at the end of the season, I just don't see them higher than #3 behind SEC and Big 12 champs.
