Question from a Rookie - Answer appreciated!

Proud new member here. Very new to this and have a question.

If I take a team at -6....and they win 13 to 7. Do I cover or is that a tie?

Again, kind of embarresed to ask the question but I got to learn somehow, appreciate an answer and love this site!

Welcome to SBR BagPipes, there's no such thing as a stupid question.

Also, if you take a team that's -6.5 and they win by six you will lose. Conversely, if you are on the underdog at +6.5 you would cash.

Depends on what type of wager it is too actually. On parlays or teasers it would just drop your odds and or lose altogether. That would be something you would have to check the rules on at the book your playing at sir.
