Heard 4/5 quoted today. Maybe that is the program line, or Morning Odds line.
Does he close under EVEN $$??
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Somewhere between even and 3-to-5, I'd guess.
I'm betting others.

IHA is 4/5 on the MORNING LINE, so if he goes off at Even or 6/5, it should be seen as a major negative given his current popularity.

I WOULD bet Union Rags IF I could find higher than +600 on the futures (5 Dimes only has +500).

Yes, it will be under 1/1, I see it ending at 3/5. No reason to bet him. There will be 3 horses between 5/1 and 10/1 that are all good bets.

Should close under 4/5 - all the souvenir ticket betting really drives it down.

The favorite won't be less than even money. A winning ticket from an OTB would look lame. IHA is the perfect horse for this race; sit's right off the pace. These horses never are able to seal the deal with the Triple Crown. This horse has flown under the radar and the competition sucks. IHA has a real shot here.

Paynter looks too cheap to me. All he won was an allowance I believe.

Maybe, but he has the 2nd best beyer in the field next to IHA at 106. Paynter will take some money.

umm no, hes talking about the ML will be lower than it should (but not by much imo) because everyone will want a "souvenir" of a triple crown winner. any other winning ticket wont be a souvenir to the general public. not trying to play the for/against TT thing that seems to be all the rage at sbr nowadays but if your gonna jab at him at least know what youre talking about...

Yeah but I don't trust higher Beyers vs. weaker competition.

LT, you are very right about this. Do know that I watched Paynter run at Pimlico and he was in hand from the gate to the wire. It was as easy as it could have been. Baffert was quoted in February as saying the his best male 3 year old in the barn at the time was Paynter, for whatever that is worth.
Also, do not trust low Beyers at minor tracks when dealing with claimers. So much depends on the day of the week that the race was run, other races carded, and track maintenance.
