Is this prop a Win or Loss?
Put $25 to win $100 on first basket being scored in first 0-15 seconds of thunder/spurs game.

The ball went thru the hoop and hit the ground and the clock still read 11:45. Have the pic on my phone, but not sure how to upload on here.

Major web-sites (espn and nba.com) have the basket at the 11:44 mark.

It didn't specify if they used a specific web-site to grade the wager so I believe Las Vegas rules apply here.

Does the fact there is very clear visual evidence help me out here? It's halftime now and the wager is still pending (not sure if this is common for prop bets since i rarely place them).

    Any thoughts?

U have to wait until the games over most likely. Some of those props they grade immediately, other times you have to wait out the game.

Thanks for the replies. Ball literally went thru hoop and hit the floor and clock read 1145. 1145 mark paid +400 and 1144 mark paid +180.

May need an investigation done by sbr on collusion between the sportsbooks and the websites used for grading.

Is there a website for vegas rules on close call rulings?

            there is no close call

when the official scorer at the game deems the ball went through and the shot clock is reset thats what time is official

it can easily be off 1 or 2 seconds. doesn't matter

They will most likely specify what they use to grade wagers like this.

If it is ESPN or NBA then you are pretty fukked.

I rarely play props other then super bowl but hit battier to score 1st basket last night at +800 to make $200 so tried again tonight. You should see the chat having with customer service right now. Maybe will state the book and post chat transcripts later if they can not provide a better answer. I asked for an official rule that states what website they use. They do not have this though so they are telling me that at the bottom of the page it states "as seen on" and lists espn, fox sports, cnbc "so they use those.". Sorry but that doesnt fly with me. I will post the chat transcripts i had as they have been entertaining.

I understand it may be a loss but a book should have specific rules listed and the fact i have been disxonnected from my customer service chat twice is not cool.

                      Inthedrink,
I was being sarcastic about collusion.

I see on 5dimes thsy say visual evidence from national broadcasts can be used on when ball goes thru hoop on certain wagers. (This bet was not on 5dimes though).

This book states vegas rules apply on anything not written. Does anybody know where i can find this. May come in handy for others in the future.

I admit that this could be a loss but after talking with CS as well as the 5dimes rule i would like to follow this thru

The main thing i need is to find the las vegas sportsbook rules.

Is it not the books responsibility to post how wagers will be ruled?

If 5dimes grades off video review it may be the same in vegas and since this site did not list their rules it states it goes off vegas rules.

So...i would like to see the vegas rules. Not easy to find though.

I believe people won $$ both ways on the book not providing specific rules on wwe matches when there was an initial ruling different from final ruling.

5 Dimes is one of the few that doesn't go strictly by nba . com , if yours does then you sadly have no case unfortunately.
