It's 25 hand video poker, you decide what cards to hold if any on the first hand and 24 more hands play out with that starting hand. In the first hand of the thread if that would have been the K of clubs instead of spades I would have held them all and had 25 royal flushes.

Do you mean I should have hit more or less? I think the math gives me about a 50% chance to hit a 1 outer in 25 hands. The second royal was a lightning strike though

No you did the right thing. I misunderstood how the game worked. I thought it dealt you 25 hands at once and you got 4/5 on all 24/25 and got a royal on 1. that would be sick. Nice hit tho

was that a progressive royal jackpot or something? almost always if you dont max bet (5 coins) the royal loses a ton of value. almost every machine and game has the pay table at 250/500/750/1000/4000 for a royal so as u can see the 5th coin makes a big difference. all the other hands such as flushes straights etc are evenly distributed payoffs for each coin.

i guess maybe some of the 5dimes games have weird royal payoffs, benefitting the player

No they don't have that anymore, but i'll be sure to let everyone know if they bring it back. The games they have now are the best payouts I've seen (over 99%) online though
