CP3, Rose, Rondo, Westbrook/D.Will.

As a bulls fan I am insanely biased towards Rose, but I love Rondo's game.

Rondo best PG in the NBA when he wants to be. Effort or focus are definitely questionable during regular season.

I would take Rondo over Wade on my team anyday.

agree completely....butttt....focus slipped a couple times last night (other that stands out is when cole stole the ball from behind) ...didnt affect the result because the heat suck

He is good, really good, no doubt.

But man, the Miami Heat have made him look 5x better of a player than he actually is. Which half-decent NBA team is gonna let Rondo do his classic high pick-n-roll with Garnett and get him open for an easy dunk/layup almost every possession. And if not that, the classic behind the back pass-fake which the Heat have fallen for countless times already this series.

Its ridiculous how coach Rivers drew up about 2 solid plays for Rondo/Garnett and he's been able to use that on 80%+ of the possessions with Heat falling for it every time...and couldn't come up with an adjustment to stop it.

yeah guys fall for the around the back pass fake all the time...but its not going to stop....guys fall for ball and pump fakes all the time too....its instinct....same when a qb can get an unblocked pass rusher in the air biting on a pump fake

Well the pump fake, people have to fall for it because the player defending him is the only one who can block the shot. However, that behind the back shit...you have to just protect the rim and if he decides to pass, let him. You have to trust your team mates to rotate over and help on the person receiving the pass. Can't fall for that fake pass and let him drive to the rim.

i know where yer coming from....but still....guys bite on shot fakes from 20 feet out......basketball logic should tell you that is a shot you want to give up alot of the time because its not a high percentage shot.....so it beats fouling or letting someone get by you towards the rim....guys are always leaving their feet that far away from the basket.....if you think a player must "block the shot" then why doesnt a player have to "block the potential passing lane"?....its instinct.....and rondo does deliver those passes too

He's the best passer in the league right now. And I'm not talking about the ball fakes, behind the back, or no looks. When this guy delivers a pass he places on the shooters right shoulder 90% of the time. Makes it a lot easier to get a shot up quickly and in rhythm. And most of the time he is delivering that pass slashing amongst much bigger defenders.

Hell even the tip ball last night he sent to Pietrus was perfect, and he was battling James just to get his hand on it.

The real deal he is! An assist machine.

The back court violation is just one of those rare, inexplicable absent-minded plays. You could see the look on his face like "yeah I don't know what the hell I was thinking." The guy is an elite point guard, I think we can safely assume that he knows not to pass into the back court.
