The bank bailouts (bush bailouts as libs like to call them) were paid back in full with interest. The auto bailouts (obamas bailouts as the libs like to call them because they "claim" he saved the auto industry) are still billions in debt. And with the auto bailouts the bond holders were ripped off by the obama admin vs the bank bailouts were everyone was repayed.Comment -

About half of the auto-bailouts were paid back. (39 out of 80 billion repaid). To be honest, those numbers are a drop in the bucket.
And by "paid back" of bush's TARP... do you mean, turned around made 3 times as much off of them, and then decided to kick the government the spare change to "re-pay it".
If that money was repaid, 401K's would be back where they were before the melt-down. 60 year olds could retire. Housing Markets would be on the up and up, and unemployment wouldn't be so damn high.
