you have to remember: sharks are coming from a bye and its their away game. i think eels have improved defensively also, im sorry roxx have to go against you on this one, last minute decision. good luck anyway !

My thoughts on this match...

Parramatta is a proud club with a long history and plenty of pressure on them to secure what would be only their second win of the season. They are playing at home although the stadium will probably be 2/3 empty and home ground advantage will not be overly significant.


The eels do posses a spectacular game breaker in Jarrod Hayne, however he does not get enough support from the rest of his team. Star recruit Chris Sandow is not living up to the hype, and the eels forward pack is serviceable with names like moi moi, mannah and hindmarsh, however they will be no match for the Shark's dominant forward pack let by their inspirational skipper Paul "superman" Gallen who could bust the eels up the middle all night for a lazy 200 metres. The Sharks have been the surprise packet of the 2012 season and with a win will sit comfortably in the top 4 although they are coming off a loss last week, that was with no Gallen or dynamic 5/8 Todd Carney.


The eels are desperate but limited by their skills while CRONULLA's defence has been rock solid all season. The same cannot be said for Parramatta. If The sharks score first and open a lead their is every chance they will run away with it and easily cover the -5.5 spread while maintinning their spot in the top 4. Led by Carney and Gallen they should be too disciplined with too much class for the Hapless Eels. the misery continues...

5 days ago Spain belted South Korea 4-1 and they are a far superior team to China...

3 friendlies in ten days means tired players on a roster going through interpersonal turmoil; pique and ramos can't stand each other, the roster is lacking in depth with injuries to Villa and puyol...the china game won't be the only disappointing result for Vincent Del Bosque and company this summer. Which sucks because I love spain.
